Tank Man is joining Bubba Fontaine's ongoing Frequency Shift this coming Sunday, 9/27, at Tailwind Cafe. I'm looking forward to it!
I finished up building two copies of the Nonlinear Circuits 1U Reverse Sigmoid module this week and it rocks. In Tank Man, I don't have a ton of use for free-running modulation sources most of the time. I need to have what my case is going to do be somewhat predictable so I can respond in ways I need to the push and pull between myself and Ted. Really the only dedicated modulation I've got running most of the time is a Joranalogue Contour 1. However, that's all shifting with the Reverse Sigmoid. I've got it configured for about 10 second long cycles and that's just long enough that I can get gnarly flipping around if I want it, but not so long that I can't on-the-fly integrate its movement into a dynamic patch. Sending just a little of it to the cutoff of a filter on a drone rules.
